Cindy Seeley LMHC, MCAP

Clinical Director

Cindy has worked in the field of substance use for 15 years and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. She is also a Certified Master Addiction Professional, Certified Recovery Coach and Registered Yoga/Meditation teacher. She received both her Bachelor of Science in Addiction Studies and her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling. Cindy is our Clinical Director, managing the Clinical aspects of the program and ensuring the best possible care for our patients. She supervises our primary therapists and group facilitators, assisting with maintaining all regulations and policies of the program. Cindy has worked in the private sector of substance use treatment for 6 years, with her early career focusing on non-profit agencies. She was employed as a primary counselor for drug court in Seminole County Florida and was the Assistance Director of an all-women’s residential unit and sober living residences. Cindy believes there are multiple pathways to recovery and not one size fits all. She is always encouraging our patients to tap into their own internal resources, developing the ability to be authentic in their relationships both with self and others.

John's key responsibilities include maintaining the day-to-day operations from both a clinical and housing perspective. John’s goal is to monitor every department to ensure proper policies and procedures are in place and client care is carried out effortlessly. John joined Amethyst as a behavioral health technician where he quickly developed strong personal relationships with the clients through support and guidance. John understands first hand the struggles of addiction and strives to provide a safe environment for clients. John is a Certified Recovery Residence Administrator.

Tom's key responsibilities include overseeing all residential programming and day to-day operations. Tom has worked in the chemical dependency field for six years and integrates his own recovery experience into providing the most effective and quality rehabilitative process possible to those struggling with addictive disorders. Tom received a Doctor of Philosophy with the distinction of Addition Specialty in Clinical Psychology; a Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Springfield College. Tom also holds a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree and received certification as a Master’s Level Addiction Professional.

Mark's key responsibilities include handling day-to-day maintenance matters and oversees our Environment of Care management plan in conjunction with Joint Commission and DCF regulations. Mark’s goal is to provide a safe environment where distractions are minimized, and treatment is the primary focus for clients and staff alike. Mark received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with a minor in Economics from the University of Rhode Island. He is a licensed residential home inspector in the state of Florida and relates his unique experience of analyzing a property and/or housing condition to determining any necessary course of action at our facility.

Finance Administration Manager

Cori's key responsibilities include supervising financial operations, and daily financial reporting and account management. Cori’s goal is to ensure all patient’s needs are met in an accurate and timely manner. Her is Certified Recovery Residence Administrator with The Florida Certification Board and licensed Notary Public in the state of Florida. Her experience includes accounting and finance training.
